Leading Northeast Fisheries Company Owner Passes

Daniel Meyer Cohen, founder and CEO of Atlantic Capes Fisheries, Inc., died on November 20, 2018 in Cape May, New Jersey at the age of 63. Danny, as he was known, took over the small fishing dock and several fishing boats his father left him in 1976. He built those into a major seafood industry enterprise. ACF’s fleet of vessels worked in several fisheries including scallops, surfclams and groundfish out of facilities in Maryland, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
