Cedar Under Glass

Richard Stanley Custom Boats has begun the finishing stage for the fiberglass top they attached to a traditional plank on frame cedar hull. In this first combination the two distinctly different building types Stanley has combined the best of both. The forward deck, wheelhouse, wash rails and transom cap are all fiberglass. Everything below these – work deck, transom and hull – are douglas fir and cedar on oak.
