Something Fishy

Lubec Road, just off Route 1 in Whiting, August 7, 2010. After loading 22 containers with 2,000 pounds each of herring at Lubec this DC Air truck headed back to Gouldsboro. Going into a 90 degree right hand turn a tire blew, flipping the truck, and dumping 44,000 lbs. of fish on the same lawn where two other trucks had done the same thing in as many months. It was the first time on that road for the driver who reported traveling about 15 MPH at the time. The property owner is impressed with the very green grass.
