The Net Result: Our Evolving Fisheries
The Penobscot Marine Museum’s History Conference is Saturday, April 8, 8:30am-3:30pm, at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center, 80 Belmont Ave., Belfast, ME. Human innovation and technology have proven to be too successful for the health of our fisheries and our local ecosystem. Our line-up of scientists, historians, journalists, activists, consumers and fishermen will answer the question: How did this happen and what do we do now?
